• Ryan Suter made his first All-Star team and was the runner-up to Montreal’s P.K. Subban for the Norris Trophy, awarded to the NHL’s best defenseman.

 Led the NHL in time on ice, a franchise-record 27:16 per game.

• Led the Wild in assists and blocked shots.

• Played a career-best 32:54 at Colorado on April 27 with a plus-2 rating to help Wild clinch a playoff berth with a 3-1 victory on the season’s final day.

• Skated a franchise playoff record 41:08 in Game 1 of the Western Conference quarterfinals at Chicago.

Career

• Has 270 points (42 goals, 228 assists), 420 penalty minutes and a plus-45 rating in 590 games during eight seasons with Nashville and the Wild.

• Posted career highs in points (46), assists (39), power-play points (25) and blocked shots (116) with Nashville in 2011-12.
