1. Niklas Backstrom, Wild: Backstrom stopped 44 of 46 shots, a franchise playoff record, in leading the Wild to its second consecutive overtime victory.
2. Brian Rolston, Wild: Scored in the third and chased down a puck in OT to avoid icing sliding the puck to Bouchard for the winner.
3. Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Wild: Tallied the overtime winner, taking the pass from Rolston and shooting it past Colorado goalie Jose Theodore.
It didn't look like the Wild would ever score Monday night, but a Todd Fedoruk hustle play, where he shot the puck to the wall, chased it down and fired a pass to Mikko Koivu for the Wild's first goal, opening the scoring floodgates.
182 Career playoff points by Colorado's Joe Sakic, who racked up a goal and an assist Monday night. He ranks 10th in league history in that category.
0 Number of goals scored by the Wild in the first two periods in the series' first three games.
8 Number of goals scored by the Wild in the third period and overtime of the series.
Game 4 of the Wild's series against Colorado will be part of a doubleheader tonight on FSN North. The network will air the Twins-Tigers at 6:05 p.m., followed by hockey at 9 p.m. FSN's plan is to cover the Wild from the opening faceoff, meaning if the Twins run long the network will cut away from baseball.
An FSN spokesperson said if that happens, updates will be provided from Detroit and "depending on the situation surrounding the Twins game, we may provide coverage of both games simultaneously through a double box on the screen."
