The Wild's opening playoff game against Colorado at 8 p.m. Wednesday will be televised on KSTC (Ch. 45). The team announced its local television schedule for the first round this afternoon.
Wednesday's game is one of four that will be aired on the Hubbard-owned station, if the series goes seven games. FSN North is scheduled to show Games 2, 4 and 6. All FSN North telecasts will be seen in high definition; KSTC does not air games in HD.
With FSN picking up the Wild on Friday, the network will not air the Twins-Royals game at 7:10 that night. FSN said it will replace the game with an August 13 game between the Yankees and Twins that was not previously scheduled to be televised.
FSN remains scheduled to show the Twins-Tigers at 6 p.m. on April 15 and will follow that with coverage of Game 4 of the Wild-Avs.
KSTC will have a one-hour Wild pregame show Wednesday and a 30-minute pregame before the other contests it airs. KSTC also will have extended postgame coverage. FSN North also will have an hour pregame on Friday.
Any Wild first-round games aired on the Versus Network will be blacked out in the Twin Cities. WCCO Radio (830 AM) also will have the Wild's postseason contests.
