Preview: The Wild, 10-3-2 in the second of back-to-backs, visits Calgary, where it is 3-14-4 all-time with a series of unimaginable meltdowns, like blowing a 3-0 lead and last-minute, one-goal lead in two games earlier this season. Since a Nov. 7, 2003, victory, the Wild is 1-10-2 at the Pengrowth Saddledome, having been outscored 38-21.
Players to watch: RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard has no goals in 23 career games vs. Flames G Miikka Kiprusoff, who's 18-5-3 against the Wild with a 170 goals-against average and .936 save percentage. RW Marian Gaborik has eight points against the Flames this season and 26 in 35 career games. C Pavol Demitra has 33 points in 39 games vs. Calgary. Flames RW Jarome Iginla is the all-time leader against the Wild with 24 goals, seven winning goals, eight power-play goals and 43 points. LW Alex Tanguay has 35 points in 40 games vs. the Wild and C Daymond Langkow has 28 points in 35 games vs. the Wild.
Numbers: The Flames are 16-2-1 when Iginla scores a goal vs. the Wild, 9-7-6 when he doesn't. The Flames are 19-4-4 when Iginla has a point vs. the Wild, 6-5-3 when he doesn't.
Injuries: Wild D Kurtis Foster (broken femur), C Eric Belanger (broken toe), C Steve Kelly (ankle) and D/LW Petteri Nummelin (groin) are out. For Calgary, Tanguay (broken toe) is probable and D Rhett Warrener (broken ankle) is out.
