Haircut goes bad, so hair goes

Last update: March 15, 2008 - 10:03 PM

You know the hair on Marian Gaborik's head? Gone, thanks to a haircut mishap.

"I wasn't confident with the lady, so I asked for a little trim," Gaborik said. "I get home, looked at the back of my head with the mirror and there were a couple spots missing. So I let my girl [Sona] shave it all off."

As you can imagine, he's gotten a lot of grief from teammates, who are calling Gaborik "Mini-me," because of his sudden resemblance to sidekick Pavol Demitra.

"But he's not as good-looking," the bald Demitra said.

Said Mark Parrish, "I hope the barber feels bad -- very, very bad."
