Among goalies who have played at least 40 games, his 2.20 goals-against average is fourth.
Numbers: San Jose has the NHL's best road record (23-8-3). And the Sharks have a record of finishing strong; they went 8-1-0 in their final nine games two seasons ago and were 13-1-3 in their final 17 games last season. The Wild is 0-2-0 vs. San Jose this season.
Injuries: For the Wild, D Petteri Nummelin (groin), LW Derek Boogaard (back) and C Eric Belanger (leg) are out. For San Jose, C Curtis Brown (hand), LW Ryane Clowe (torn knee ligaments) and D Brad Norton (back) are on injured reserve.
