Gameday: Wild vs. Los Angeles

Last update: March 1, 2008 - 11:54 PM

Preview: The Wild, coming off two consecutive road victories, will try to break a two-game home losing streak. The Kings were 3-5-1 in their nine games entering Saturday night's game in Colorado.

Players to watch: Kings center Anze Kopitar leads the team with 62 points (28 goals, 34 assists). Former Wild player Patrick O'Sullivan is fourth on the team with 40 points, including 17 goals.

Numbers: Los Angeles is 28th in the league with a 12-18-2 record in road games before Saturday's game. One reason might be the Kings' 29th-ranked road penalty kill (76.4 percent). The Wild went 1-for-3 on the power play Friday night against Florida, with Todd Fedoruk getting the goal ... The Wild is 2-2-2 in its past six home games. Each of the Wild's past six victories have come by one goal, a team record.

Injuries: For the Kings, LW Ladislav Nagy (neck) is on injured reserve. Center Derek Anderson (knee) and goaltender Jason LaBarbera (groin) are day to day. For the Wild, winger Derek Boogaard (back) is out.
