Happy Trade Deadline Day from Xcel Energy Center.

Every healthy Wild player that should be on the ice is on the ice for practice, except Dany Heatley, who is apparently riding the bike in the workout room.

The only Wild news thus far today? Brad Staubitz, sent to the minors earlier this month, was claimed off re-entry waivers by the Montreal Canadiens. Maybe that means the Canadiens, the last-place team in the East, plans to unload a number of forwards today besides Andrei Kostitsyn, like Travis Moen.

The Wild plays in Montreal on Thursday, so Staubitz could be playing his old team very quickly. The Wild is on the hook for half his dollars the final 20 games and half his cap hit, which even I could afford (OK, not quite).

No trade news yet. The goalie market is shrinking allegedly, so I'm really doubting whether Josh Harding gets dealt. Toronto GM Brian Burke told TSN, "We've gotten nowhere. The price tags don't make sense."

I think Jaroslav Spacek and Bryan Allen get dealt today. I think Johnny Oduya maybe gets traded. Once these guys go, we'll see if the Wild gets more interest in Greg Zanon as the day hits 1 p.m., 2 p.m.

Nick Schultz is in play, another source told me this morning, but again, that doesn't mean he is traded.
