Preview: The Canucks are in second place in the Western Conference, comfortably in playoff position with 71 points. The Wild is a precarious eighth in the conference with 58 -- tied with Phoenix, one point ahead of Colorado and two ahead of Dallas.

Players to watch: Henrik and Daniel Sedin of the Canucks are both in the top 10 in the NHL in scoring with a combined 110 points (34 goals, 76 assists). Henrik leads the league with 46 assists but is doubtful for tonight's game because of an ankle injury. The brothers played on different lines in Tuesday's victory over Nashville as coach Alain Vigneault tinkered with combinations to spark his team's offense. ... C Mikko Koivu should return for the Wild after missing eight games (shoulder). He leads the team with 24 assists. LW Dany Heatley (17 goals, 21 assists) is the team's leading scorer.

Numbers: The Canucks have gone to overtime in eight of their past 10 games. The Wild has 18 of its final 29 games at home. The Canucks are third in the NHL in goals per game (3.13) and the Wild is 29th (2.21).

Injuries: Canucks F Aaron Volpatti (shoulder) and F Andrew Ebbett (collarbone) are out. C Henrik Sedin (ankle) is doubtful. Regulars missing for the Wild are LW Guillaume Latendresse (concussion), RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard (concussion) and D Clayton Stoner (lower body).
