Wild-Columbus game preview

Preview: The Wild reaches the final game of its five-game road trip at 2-2, having bounced back from a lackluster 5-2 loss at Los Angeles on Saturday with a 3-2 victory at Anaheim on Sunday that moved the team into first place in the Northwest Division. After tonight, the Wild has a season-long six-game homestand. Columbus broke a three-game losing streak with a 2-1 home victory over Winnipeg on Saturday.

Players to watch: Dany Heatley leads the Wild with 11 points (5-6--11) and has four in the past five games. C Matt Cullen leads the Wild with seven goals. G Niklas Backstrom is 8-3-1 with a 2.25 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage vs. Columbus. Josh Harding is 1-2-0 with a 3.67 GAA and .880 save percentage. ... RW Steve Nash leads the Blue Jackets with 23 points (13-10--23) in 29 games vs. the Wild. G Steve Mason is 3-4-1 vs. the Wild.

Numbers: With 21 points in 17 games, the Wild is two points off its record of 23 points at the 17-game mark in 2008-09. The Wild is 4-3-2 on the road this season. The Wild has allowed the second-fewest goals in the NHL (35) and has yielded an NHL-low 10 third-period goals. ... Columbus is second-to-last with 60 goals allowed and last with a minus-24 goal differential.

Injuries: For the Wild, D Mike Lundin (back), D Greg Zanon (groin), W Guillaume Latendresse (concussion) and D Marco Scandella (concussion) are out. For Columbus W Kristian Huselius (pectoral surgery), G Mark Dekanich (sprained ankle) and D Radek Martinek (concussion) are on injured reserve.
