Preview: Fourteen members of the Senators' 1992-93 inaugural team that went 10-70-4 will be honored as Ottawa opens the season at home. The Senators have started the season 0-2. The Wild has its first of 10 sets of back-to-back games this season.

Players to watch: Wild RW Dany Heatley played four seasons with the Senators before demanding a trade, registering two 50-goal, 100-point seasons. LW Guillaume Latendresse has eight goals in 21 games vs. Ottawa. G Josh Harding might start. Senators C Jason Spezza has four points in two games this season. Captain Daniel Alfredsson has 11 points in nine games vs. the Wild, while LW Milan Michalek has 14 in 18 games.

Numbers: The Wild went 6-10-3 in the second of back-to-backs last season. ... The Wild is 2-6-2 all-time vs. the Senators, 1-3 in Ottawa.

Injuries: Wild D Mike Lundin (back), RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard (suspended) and RW Brad Staubitz (suspended) are out. Senators RW Jesse Winchester (shoulder) and D Matt Carkner (knee) are out.
