Preview: The Wild begins a three-game homestand facing a Nashville team that has lost three in a row and five of six. The Wild, meanwhile, has won seven of 10. Minnesota won the first meeting between the teams 4-3, Nov. 24 in Nashville, on Branko Radivojevic's late goal.
Players to watch: Pierre-Marc Bouchard hasn't scored a goal since Nov. 11, a 16-game stretch. Brian Rolston, though, is heating up, getting a goal in three of his past four games. He has points in six of his past eight.
Numbers: The Wild has scored two or fewer goals in 11 of its past 16 games. The Wild is 10-10-5 vs. Nashville all-time, 6-3-3 at Xcel Energy Center.
Injuries: For the Wild, C/W Pavol Demitra missed Monday's practice because of the flu, meaning he has gone two days without skating. His condition will be rechecked today. W Derek Boogaard (back) and D Petteri Nummelin (nose) are doubtful, and C Mikko Koivu (leg) is out. For Nashville, W Martin Erat (neck) is day-to-day and W Steve Sullivan (back) is on injured reserve.
