WEEK IN REVIEW
Record: 1-2 (before Saturday's game in Columbus). • The Wild finished a strong four-game homestand (3-1) disappointingly by dropping a 3-1 decision to Philadelphia. The Wild went 1-for-8 on the power play and blew two long 5-on-3 opportunities. The Wild did beat Vancouver for the first time on Eric Belanger and Aaron Voros goals, but little was right Friday in a 5-0 loss to Detroit. STAR TRIBUNE'S STAR OF THE WEEK Henrik Zetterberg, Red Wings left winger: With 12 multipoint games and at least a point in 25 of 28 games, the star two-way player collected his second career hat trick against the Wild on Friday.
THIS WEEK THREE GAMES
Tuesday: at San Jose, 9:30 p.m.; Friday: at Anaheim, 9 p.m.; Saturday: at Los Angeles, 9:30 p.m. • The Wild wraps up its five-game trip with three games in sunny, warm California. It will face the Sharks for the first time, then travel to Southern California, where perhaps Scott Niedermayer might dust himself off after his predictable return to the Ducks. Henrik Zetterberg, Red Wings left winger: With 12 multipoint games and at least a point in 25 of 28 games, the star two-way player collected his second career hat trick against the Wild Friday.
