STAR TRIBUNE'S THREE STARS

1. Niklas Backstrom, Wild: The veteran goalie, who made 40 saves, was especially strong in the second and third periods.

2. Branko Radivojevic, Wild: The embattled winger, whose job is in danger, scored the go-ahead goal with 1:53 remaining. It was his first goal of the season that wasn't an empty netter.

3. Matt Foy, Wild: The winger had his second two-point game in a week.
