Preview: The Wild is 4-9-1 in its past 14 games after Friday's 4-0 loss to Columbus. It is 2-0-1 in the second half of back-to-back games, although this isn't a typical one because the Wild was due into Nashville around 6:30 p.m. Friday. The red-hot Predators just went through a 5-1-2 stretch against Central Division foes to climb back into the playoff picture.
Players to watch: Predators RW Martin Erat leads the team with 20 points and is coming off a goal and two assists in a victory over Detroit. The resurgent Radek Bonk leads Nashville with nine goals. Preds C Jason Arnott has 14 points in 18 games against the Wild. LW Brian Rolston hasn't scored in eight games for the first time since 2004.
Numbers: The Wild won last year's series 3-1 with the team's combining for 36 goals in four games. ... The Wild is 3-7-2 all-time in Nashville. ... The Wild is 11-0 when it doesn't give a goal in the third, 0-9-2 when it does. ... The Wild is 0-9-2 when it allows more than two goals.
Injuries: Predators RW Steve Sullivan (back) is out. Wild LW Pavol Demitra (groin), G Josh Harding (head), D/W Petteri Nummelin (head, nose) and C Mikko Koivu (fibula) are out.
