After starting the season 10-11-2 at home, the Wild is 6-1-1 in its past eight at Xcel Energy Center, outscoring its opponents 21-10. The Blackhawks, 4-3 shootout winners over Phoenix on Sunday, have won four of five since beating the Wild 3-1 on Feb. 16 in Chicago.

Players to watch: C Warren Peters, after being sent down to AHL Houston on Saturday, is expected to be recalled for Minnesota and switch spots with C Cody Almond. Peters provided energy and physicality in Anaheim. C Matt Cullen has five goals in his past eight games against Chicago. C Kyle Brodziak has 15 points in his past 16 games. Bouchard and RW Martin Havlat have 14 points each during the Wild's 12-5-1 stretch. Blackhawks D Brent Seabrook signed a five-year, $29 million extension Sunday. RW Marian Hossa has 13 points in 14 games vs. the Wild. C Patrick Sharp is tied for third in the NHL with 32 goals.

Numbers: The Blackhawks have the NHL's fourth-best offense and second-best power play. ...
