2. Niklas Backstrom, Wild: Stopped all 21 Edmonton shots to improve to 5-0 against the Oilers with a 0.40 goals-against average and a .981 save percentage. He earned his seventh career shutout.
3. Stephane Veilleux, Wild: Created energy all night and was even a scoring threat with five shots.
