Recap: Wild 3, Columbus 2

Last update: October 6, 2007 - 11:11 PM

STAR TRIBUNE'S THREE STARS

1. Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Wild: Scored a game-tying breakaway goal with 50 seconds left in the first and set up Brent Burns' winner in the third.

2. Fredrik Norrena, Blue Jackets: Made 28 saves and frustrated the Wild several times by keeping it from cashing in on glorious scoring opportunities.

3. Martin Skoula, Wild: An overall bounceback game from the Wild blue line was highlighted by Skoula, who was a bull with four shots, three hits and overall quality defensive play.

THE STATS

50 Career goals for Bouchard, the seventh Wild player in team history to hit the mark.
