Wild pursuing practice facility

  • Updated: October 15, 2007 - 8:16 PM

The Wild is in discussion with several communities regarding the possibility of housing a new practice facility for the team, team President and General Manager Doug Risebrough said Monday.

"At the end of the day, we don't know yet whether we'd fully build one or have to renovate one. It depends where we're going," Risebrough said. "It'd be a couple years away. It's not like I'll be standing at a podium tomorrow announcing it."

Currently, the Wild practices at Xcel Energy Center on most off days when the team is home.
