Preview: Do not adjust your dial; it is the Red Wings again. For the second time in two nights, the second of three games vs. Detroit in six nights. The Red Wings are 2-2-1 on the second half of back-to-backs this season. The Wild is 1-2-1 in such games.
Players to watch: Wings No. 1 goaltender Dominik Hasek, 41, rarely plays on back-to-back nights. So look for Chris Osgood (3-2-0, 2.06 GAA, .917 SP) to start. Wild coach Jacques Lemaire said he wouldn't decide until today who would start in goal.
Numbers: Detroit was one of only nine teams in the league that, entering Friday's games, had registered 10 road victories. The Wings are 10-6-1. The Wild has the second-best home record in the league (13-3-1); it has won four consecutive home games since losing 3-0 to Detroit on Dec. 1 at Xcel Energy Center.
Injuries: Defenseman Petteri Nummelin (upper body) is questionable. For Detroit, winger Mikael Samuelsson (groin) is out until next week. Center Tomas Kopecky (collarbone) is out.
