  • Won the Bert Bell Award as pro football's player of the year in 2008.
  • All-Pro first team the past two seasons, has started the Pro Bowl for the NFC the past three seasons, and was the game's MVP following the 2007 season.
  • With 4,484 rushing yards in his first three seasons is fourth best in NFL history for a fourth-year player.
  • His father, Nelson Peterson, was a college basketball player at Idaho State and his mother, Bonita Jackson, was a track and field standout.
