  • NFL's all-time leader in touchdown passes (497), completions (6,083), attempts (9,811), yards (69,329) and victories by a starting quarterback (181-104 in his record).
  • Three-time NFL Most Valuable Player (1995, 1996, 1997) and 11-time Pro Bowl selection.
  • Entered the season with 275 regular-season starts, most in NFL history, breaking the record of ex-Vikings defensive end Jim Marshall (270). Favre has started 309 consecutive in all, including playoffs.
  • Favre and his wife, Deanna, have two daughters, Brittany (21) and Breleigh (11) and a grandson.
  • Drafted by Atlanta in the second round (33rd overall) in 1991. Traded to the Packers in 1992 for a first-round choice.
  • Played 16 seasons in Green Bay before he was traded to the Jets in 2008.
