- Acquired: First-round draft choice (seventh overall) in 2007

- Led the league in rushing, the first Viking to accomplish the feat, with 1,760 yards in 2008.
- Holds the NFL record for yards rushing in a game (296 vs. San Diego 11/4/07).
- Won the Bert Bell Award as pro football's player of the year in 2008.
- All-Pro first team last season, has started the Pro Bowl for the NFC the past two seasons, and was the game's MVP following the 2007 season.
