The Vikings, and the majority of NFL teams, did not select any players in today's supplemental draft.

The only players to be taken were Brigham Young running back Harvey Unga, who went to the Bears, and Illinois defensive tackle Josh Price-Bent, who was taken by the Cowboys. Both went in the seventh round, which means Chicago and Dallas will forfeit seventh-round selections in the 2011 draft.

Fullback Vaness Emokpae of Truman State and running back Quentin Castille of Northwestern State (La.) were not drafted and are now free to sign with any NFL team.

The supplemental draft is in place to enable underclassmen -- who did not petition the league for early entry before the NFL draft deadline but find themselves ineligible for their upcoming college season-- a way to gain entry into the NFL.
