ORLANDO, FLA. -- Vikings vice president of player personnel Rick Spielman watched former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow at his Pro Day recently. Tebow has spent several weeks working on changing his throwing motion so that it's not as long and will be more suited for the pro game. So what did Spielman think? Here are three questions we asked him Sunday on the first day of the NFL owners meetings.

Q. What were your feelings about Tebow's new throwing mechanics?

A. "He did a good workout and put on a performance in front of a lot of people and it was a totally different throwing motion than what you saw down at the Senior Bowl. He's done a good job working at it for the six weeks time he has had."

Q. How difficult is that to do, changing your throwing motion?

A. "The question is, will he be able to keep that motion and keep doing the things he's doing when the bullets are flying or when we actually get to the live stuff? But I'm sure there will be a lot of scrutiny done on him and there's still a long way to go yet before we figure out what is or what isn't."

Q. Is that Florida Pro Day pretty hectic with so many top-notch kids?

A. "I think they do a great job down there. Very organized and they have a lot of good football players. They have eight or nine guys that are probably going to get drafted off of that team so not only are you there to see Tebow, there are a lot of other good football players that you get an opportunity to look at."

By the way, don't forget we'll be posting blogs and tweets from the owners meetings from Monday through Wednesday. Because of the activity at these meetings, it's often quicker to use twitter so make sure to check me out at www.twitter.com/juddzulgad. We'll be back at it on Monday morning and expect to have some news on the 2010 schedule around the lunch hour.
