Just arrived at Winter Park -- actually I work across the street but that's not nearly as exciting -- to begin the wait to see if a deal gets done between free-agent running back LaDainian Tomlinson and the Vikings.

Tomlinson had dinner with team officials on Wednesday night in downtown Minneapolis and seemed impressed with the Vikings when we talked to him afterward. But he also made it clear it's going to be key what he hears from the Vikings today.

Tomlinson did say he has no trouble with being used behind Adrian Peterson in the third-down role that had been occupied by Chester Taylor. But Tomlinson also added he has another visit scheduled this week that he will take if he doesn't sign on the dotted line with Minnesota.

Check the blog and the good old twitter account (www.twitter.com/juddzulgad) throughout the day and we'll do our best to keep you updated.
