The Vikings had a lengthy injury report Wednesday with 13 players on it. That is the most this season.

Percy Harvin (illness), Adrian Peterson (ankle/foot), Tyrell Johnson (concussion) and Phil Loadholt (shoulder) did not practice.

Peterson, who's battled an ankle injury in recent weeks, limped off the field late in the game. Johnson acknowledged after the game that he suffered a concussion.

Loadholt fell hard on his right shoulder in the first quarter but returned in the second quarter and was able to finish the game. There are indications that he dislocated his shoulder.

Players who were limited were Cedric Griffin (neck), Steve Hutchinson (shoulder), Bryant McKinnie (ankle), Visanthe Shiancoe (ribs), Pat Williams (foot), Antoine Winfield (foot), Bernard Berrian (hamstring), Anthony Herrera (concussion) and Karl Paymah (knee).

Coach Brad Childress said that linebacker E.J. Henderson has returned to the Twin Cities. He flew back from Phoenix on Wednesday on one of Zygi Wilf's private planes.

Also, there was a report by Westwood analyst Tony Boselli that left tackle Bryant McKinnie tips off defenders about whether a play will be a run or pass based on his footwork and the way he positions his body before the snap. McKinnie admitted after practice that he noticed some things in his three-point stance that he is working to correct this week.

McKinnie said he doesn't have the same issues when he's in the two-point stance, which he was almost the entire game against the Cardinals because of the crowd noise.

"They couldn't really get a read off me in the two-point," he said. "We went back and watched the film and I was pretty balanced in the two-point. But I know for the future when I'm not in the two point and I'm in down point, I know what I have to do. I've been working on that so thank you very much for the advice."

McKinnie said he didn't think anyone else noticed his tendencies.

"I kind of knew I was doing it but I didn't think anyone picked up on it," he said. "But when they said something, I was like, 'OK, I've got to stop doing it. I have to fix it.' It was just little things I knew I was doing, trying to adjust myself but no one ever made it public. When they made it public, I said, 'OK, they caught on too so I just have to stop it.' "
