Antoine Winfield was limited in practice Wednesday but he said he expects to play Sunday against the Bears.

The Pro Bowl cornerback has missed four-plus game since suffering a right foot injury Oct. 18 against the Baltimore Ravens.

"It feels 100 times better," Winfield said. "I have no issues. I took all the reps with the first team today so I'm looking forward to getting out there on Sunday. ... It's been about six weeks. When I did it I was told it's going to be 4 to 6 weeks to get back. I'm just excited to get back out there."

Winfield tested his foot before last Sunday's game against Seattle but the team decided to rest him one more game. Winfield wanted to play but he said it was the right decision not to play.

"I'm glad I didn't," he said. "Guys got out there and played well. Got a big win for us. Me being a competitor, I want to get out there and play. It's been a long time since I've been out there, made some plays, hit some people. Definitely excited about that."

Winfield said he still felt "a little pinch every time I broke but I don't even feel that now."

Winfield said he wants to play the entire game and not just spot duty.

"I haven't played football in six weeks," he said. "It's been a long time. That's what I'm doing this week, working on my techniques. Trying to fine-tune everything."

On another note, Winfield said the twitter account using his name is a fake (winfield26).

"No, I don't have a twitter account," he said. "Bryant McKinnie said something like that last week. No, that's not me. Don't have one of those."
