Vikings running back Adrian Peterson went over the 1,000-yard mark for the third time in his three-year career on Sunday in the Vikings' 35-9 victory over Seattle but his stay at that total was brief.

Peterson fell below the 1,000-yard total when he lost 3 yards on two separate carries in his final series in the fourth quarter. Peterson fell to 999 when he was thrown for a 1-yard loss on a first-and-10 play from the Seattle 33. On the next play, Tarvaris Jackson connected with Sidney Rice for a 34-yard touchdown.
