Quarterback Brett Favre (hip/groin) and cornerback Antoine Winfield (foot) were both limited for a second consecutive day in practice as the Vikings prepared for Sunday's game against Detroit at the Metrodome.

Favre has dealt with this problem since the Wednesday before the Vikings beat the Packers on Nov. 1 and is expected to play in his 300th consecutive game (including playoffs) on Sunday. Winfield, meanwhile, did some running during the early portion of practice but was not taking part in individual drills. He left the field as his teammates were doing their post-practice stretching and was not available to comment.

It would not be surprising if Winfield does not return until the Vikings game against the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 22 at the Metrodome.

Also limited for the second day in a row were linebacker E.J. Henderson (knee) and wide receiver Bernard Berrian (hamstring). Linebacker Jasper Brinkley (hamstring) and wide receiver Darius Reynaud (hamstring) participated in all of practice for a second consecutive day but were on the injury report.

As noted earlier, the Lions could be without starting linebackers Larry Foote (knee) and Ernie Sims (hamstring) Neither practiced on Wednesday or today. Defensive end Dewayne White (toe) also did not practice for the second day in a row today.

Six players were limited for the Lions, including defensive tackle Joe Cohen (ankle); linebacker Jordon Dizon (neck); fullback Jerome Felton (ankle); defensive end Jason Hunter (knee); defensive tackle Grady Jackson (knee); and quarterback Matthew Stafford (knee). Wide receiver Calvin Johnson (knee) is on the report but hasn't missed any practice time this week.

Friday's injury report will carry designations of whether a player is out, doubtful, questionable or probable.

On another note, Sunday's game is officially a sellout and will be televised locally on FOX9. The Lions, however, did return 400 tickets so there are seats available.
