Columnist calls Favre 'clear-cut' MVP at halfway point

Fox Sports columnist Jason Whitlock is never shy about his opinions and he gave his take this week on Brett Favre's impact on the Vikings this season.

Whitlock writes that at the halfway mark Favre is the "clear-cut MVP. It ain't even close. Right now Favre is sportsman of the year. That's not hyperbole."

Whitlock also takes apart Packers general manager Ted Thompson for his role in Favre's divorce in Green Bay after 16 seasons. Whitlock's column is sure to spark intense reactions in Green Bay.
