Judd Zulgad has been on the NFL beat since the 2003 season, when he began a (gasp) two-year stint covering the Green Bay Packers for the Star Tribune. Zulgad has covered the Vikings since 2005 and is as shocked as anyone that he is again following the daily exploits of Brett Favre.
Chip Scoggins knew his second season covering the Vikings would be eventful when he saw the news helicopter tracking Brett Favre to Winter Park and a guy dressed in a full parrot costume standing outside.

As if the Packers hadn't already heard enough about Brett Favre.
For the second time this season, the quarterback earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against his former team. Favre was honored Tuesday after throwing four touchdown passes in a 38-26 victory at Lambeau Field on Sunday. He also won the award after throwing three touchdowns against Green Bay in a 30-23 victory on Oct. 5 at the Metrodome.
Sunday marked the 21st four-touchdown game of Favre's career, matching Dan Marino for the NFL record. Favre's 128.6 passer rating against the Packers is the fifth game in 2009 that he has posted a passer rating of more than 100. In two games against the Packers, Favre threw for 515 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions. He completed 41 of 59 passes with a 135.9 rating.
Favre has been named either the NFC or AFC offensive player of the week 15 times in his career. He earned the honor 11 times in 16 seasons with the Packers and won the AFC award twice in 2008 with the Jets.
