Postgame snapshot from Lambeau Field where the Packers beat the Vikings 23-14.

Good news: Adrian Peterson not only made the bus Sunday, he ran all over the Packers to the tune of 210 yards on 21 carries. That included an 82-yard go-ahead touchdown run in the second quarter and a 48-yard outburst to open the second half. Peterson's 82-yard run was the longest of his career and the fourth longest in franchise history. Over the past six games, Peterson has now rushed for 947 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 7.8 yards per carry. With six consecutive 100-yard games, Peterson set a new team record.

Bad news: Quarterback Christian Ponder is stuck in a big-time funk with no explanations left. No throw was more costly than the interception Ponder threw to Morgan Burnett on an ill-advised pass toward Michael Jenkins in the end zone early in the third quarter. The Vikings led 14-10 at the time and had marched inside the red zone thanks to Peterson's 48-yard run. But rolling to his right, Ponder's throw to Jenkins never had a chance. Green Bay turned the takeaway into a 47-yard Mason Crosby field goal on the ensuing possession, a pivotal six-point swing. On the Vikings' next series, Ponder was picked off by Burnett in the red zone again, this time on a throw to Rudolph. Overall, Ponder was 12-for-25 for 119 yards. He went 5-for-5 for 36 yards on the Vikings' first touchdown drive and then dry-heaved the rest of the way.

Extra point: The Vikings' receiving corps was putrid itself. Five receivers were active Sunday – Jenkins, Jerome Simpson, Jarius Wright, Devin Aromashodu and Stephen Burton. Yet that quintet contributed all of three catches for 38 yards -- all in the final 3 minutes.

Next up: The Vikings will host Chicago next Sunday afternoon at Mall of America Field. The Bears, who scored a 28-10 blowout of the Vikings in Week 12, are losing to Seattle 17-14 in the final minute at Soldier Field..
