Vikings running back Adrian Peterson did not arrive at Soldier Field this morning with the team, an interesting but seemingly minor development originally reported by the NFL Network's Stacey Dales.
Peterson was seen by a handful of Twin Cities reporters leaving the team hotel in downtown Chicago in a cab. Dales reported that the star running back arrived at Soldier Field a little before 10:30 a.m. Today's Vikings-Bears game will kickoff at noon. Peterson will play. The reason for his solo arrival is not yet known. And it remains to be seen whether he'll spend a play or two on the sidelines to open the game.
