While the biggest Vikings' injury news today was the return of linebacker Erin Henderson to practice, several other key starters are dealing with their own ailments.
Defensive end Jared Allen was one of four players who did not practice Wednesday, still dealing with a groin injury he suffered in the second half of last weekend's win at Detroit. Also out today were receiver Michael Jenkins (ribs) and safeties Mistral Raymond (ankle) and Andrew Sendejo (ankle).
Quarterback Christian Ponder, meanwhile, was a limited participant in practice with a knee injury. Ponder's knee injury isn't figured to be serious but will be worth keeping an eye on as the week progresses. Other Vikings limited today were Henerson (concussion), left guard Charlie Johnson (low back), cornerback Antoine Winfield (knee) and corner Marcus Sherels (quadriceps).
