The Vikings’ inactive list has just been released at Mall of America field for today’s game against Jacksonville. And there is one very notable player NOT on that list: running back Adrian Peterson.
The wait is over. The Vikings star will be given the green light to play this afternoon in the season opener. That should send a charge of excitement through the Metrodome. The roars promise to be loud the first time Peterson takes the field and the first time he touches the ball.
Now we’ll see just how heavy a workload head coach Leslie Frazier and offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave plan to give Peterson. Frazier has been straightforward all along in asserting that Peterson’s first game action will come with
