The Vikings will begin reporting to training camp in Mankato in less than 48 hours. And at present, their top overall draft pick, left tackle Matt Kalil, remains unsigned. But the Vikings did announce a very minor tackle transaction this afternoon. They have released rookie Darrion Weems and signed Kevin Murphy.

The Vikings originally signed Murphy, a 6-foot-7, 303-pound rookie tackle out of Harvard, in May but waived him a couple days later. Now he’s back with a ticket to Mankato.
