According to a report from Clark Judge on CBSSports.com, the Vikings have four candidates in the mix to become their next defensive coordinator. Even though Fred Pagac still hasn't been officially axed from that position yet, Raheem Morris interviewed for the job on Friday. And CBS is also reporting that the Vikings will consider Steve Spagnuolo, Mel Tucker and Mike Singletary.

Spagnuolo was fired as the Rams' head coach earlier this week but may also have other opportunities to weigh. Tucker is the defensive coordinator in Jacksonville and took over as interim head coach in late November when Jack Del Rio was fired. And Singletary is the current linebackers coach for the Vikings.

On Friday, the Vikings fired defensive line coach Karl Dunbar in the first of what could well be several moves made by head coach Leslie Frazier as he reconfigures his coaching staff after a miserable 3-13 season.

Frazier will likely have to make final decisions on his coaching staff within the next two weeks. Today, it was announced that the Vikings coaching staff would lead the North squad at the Senior Bowl. Practices for that event begin Jan. 23.
