The Vikings' afternoon practice was delayed by the players' vote to ratify the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
While other players went through drills, Donovan McNabb and the others who signed as free agents stood around until, at 3:55 p.m., Vikings VP Rick Spielman got off his cell phone and said "Donovan" and gave the quarterback the high sign to practice.
Fans applauded, and Joe Webb squirted McNabb with a water battle.
The NFL confirmed the passage, which happened officially at 3:54 Central Time.
We'll be back with a full report when practice ends.
