Peterson misses practice

Posted by: Mark Craig under Vikings, Vikings off the field, Vikings offense, Adrian Peterson Updated: August 2, 2011 - 10:47 AM

Adrian Peterson is missing as the Vikings have their lone practice of the day.

Peterson left yesterday's camp-opening practice when his fiancee went into labor, and was not available to speak to reporters.

The Vikings said he is absent today for the same reason.

Peterson is entering the final season of his contract.
