The Vikings were shut out in the first two editions of the NFL Network's "The Top 100: Players of 2011."
That will end in episode three, set to air at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Defensive end Jared Allen will be featured on the episode in which the rankings from 80 to 71 will be unveiled. Allen is one of two Vikings who will make the list for the top 100. (While it's easy to figure out that the other player is Adrian Peterson, I don't know where he will rank.)
Allen is one of 13 defensive ends to make the list, which ranks as the second-highest position represented. There are 18 wide receivers in the rankings.
Allen was acquired by the Vikings from Kansas City in a draft-week trade in 2008. He had a team-leading 14.5 sacks in 2008 and 2009 and 11 sacks in 2010.
