While we continue to wait for Leslie Frazier to complete his coaching staff, one name that continues to come up is Philadelphia Eagles offensive line coach Juan Castillo. The Philadelphia Daily News has reported a source said no teams have asked for permission to speak to Castillo, but he and Frazier are good friends dating to their time together on the Eagles staff. Castillo joined Philadelphia in 1995 as an offensive assistant, was promoted to tight ends coach in 1997 and and made the move to offensive line coach the following season. What isn't clear is if Castillo moved to Minnesota whether it would be for a job such as offensive line coach/assistant head coach or if it might be for the offensive coordinator's job. The Vikings are believed to still be waiting to hear from Josh McDaniels after he interviewed on Saturday with the St. Louis Rams to become their offensive coordinator. McDaniels interviewed for the same job with the Vikings on Jan. 7. Castillo, meanwhile, also has been mentioned as a possible candidate to join former Eagles assistant Pat Shurmur on the Cleveland Browns staff.
