Chicago rookie safety Major Wright has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for a helmet-first hit on Vikings quarterback Joe Webb in the fourth quarter on Monday night, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Wright received a penalty for unnecessary roughness on the play. Because Webb was called for a low block on the same play, it wiped out a 59-yard interception return for a touchdown by Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher.

The full list of fines from Monday's game will be revealed by the NFL today. Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield was fined $7,500 for a hit on Jay Cutler that resulted in the Bears quarterback cutting his chin.
