Quick highlights of Brett Favre's press conference.
Despite a shoulder injury that makes him questionable to play Sunday against the Giants, the veteran quarterback said "I've beaten the odds so many times. For me, I can't go off of how I feel Monday or Tuesday."
Favre also said "I would think by Friday I'd have a pretty good grasp" on whether he will play Sunday.
He said the shoulder feels better today, but there have been no discussion on whether he would take a pain-killing shot in it.
"I would want to play the whole game ... I don't want to jeopardize the team" by playing even if he didn't feel up to it.
He said he hadn't tried to throw this week, and wouldn't practice today. He also didn't think he would play after suffering his ankle injury, but did.
Of the hit that put him out of the Bills game, by Arthur Moats, Favre said: "It was a good hit and an awkward position I was in ... it was impressive."
His bottom line for Sunday? "I hope I can play in this game and be effective. I came back to play and I hope to play."
