Report: Titans put in a claim on Moss

Something might have finally gone right for the Vikings in the Randy Moss saga.

Don Banks of Sports Illustrated has reported that the Tennessee Titans have put in a waiver claim on Moss. That doesn't mean they will get him -- we will know around 3 p.m. central where Moss lands -- but it means the Vikings will be off the hook for the wide receiver's contract.

The Titans are No. 22 on the waiver claim list so if no team ahead of them makes a claim on Moss he will end up in Tennessee. The Titans would pay Moss the remaining balance of his salary ($3.388 million).
