Vikings coach Brad Childress said a decision on whether Brett Favre will start against New England on Sunday likely won't come until game day.
Childress was asked if he wants Favre to start, and he said "If he gives us the best chance to win, yeah."
Childress didn't answer when asked if his decision to start Favre was based on performance or injury.
The veteran quarterback went through some drills today in practice. He has two fractures in his left ankle and shin.
