NFL executives have yet to talk to Jenn Sterger about the alleged inappropriate voice mails and photos that Vikings quarterback Brett Favre sent her in 2008 when both were employed by the New York Jets, but the league has sat down with one of Sterger's friends.

Allison Torres, who told Playboy Radio (via Deadspin.com) that she saw the alleged pictures of Favre two years ago, has talked to the league, according to sources. Torres and Sterger were friends at Florida State. It's not known if the two are still friends or what the league got from talking to Torres.

Sterger is the one who saved the messages sent to her and whatever she saved is now in the possession of her attorney, Joseph Conway. "I'm not going to confirm what we have but whatever Ms. Sterger has is in our possession," Conway said earlier today.

The NFL issued a statement Friday that read: "The review is ongoing, but at this point we have not reached any conclusions. We will continue to pursue opportunities to speak with individuals that potentially have information." The last portion of that statement applies to more than just Sterger as the NFL tries to interview an unknown number of people who they believe have knowledge that would assist in their investigation.

Favre was interviewed Tuesday at Winter Park by NFL vice president for security Milt Ahlerich. Because the NFL has now made it clear that this is a workplace conduct issue and not a personal conduct issue it is now unclear if the league would fine or suspend Favre if he's found to have harassed Sterger with the alleged photos.

Conway reiterated tonight that there have been no settlement talks with Favre's camp and no decisions have been made about whether Sterger will talk to the NFL and cooperate with its investigation.
