Vikings quarterback Brett Favre arrived at Winter Park around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

That isn't unusual for him, given that he often spends his off day each week at the Vikings' facility receiving treatment for his sore throwing elbow and watching film of the next opponent. What was unusual for Favre is that he also had a scheduled meeting with NFL Security vice president Milt Ahlerich on Tuesday.

UPDATE: At 4 p.m., Bus Cook left Winter Park driving the same car that Favre arrived in Tuesday morning. Reporters waiting outside did not see Favre in the vehicle, but Cook's presence means it's obvious the meeting took place inside Winter Park.

The NFL wanted to talk to Favre to discuss allegations that he sent inappropriate photos and text messages to former Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger in 2008 when he played for the team. At issue is whether Favre violated the NFL's personal conduct policy.

However, at this point it's believed Sterger is not talking and that means it's going to be the tough for the league to make a case against Favre. An NFL spokesman said in an e-mail the NFL would have no comment on the meeting, which according to ESPN has concluded.

It's not clear if or when the NFL will elect to comment on the investigation of this matter.

On another note, the trading deadline has come and gone and the Vikings have announced no moves. That isn't a surprise considering they already made a splash by going out and getting Randy Moss this month from New England. The NFL trading deadline rarely features much activity.
