Brett Favre usually holds his weekly press conference every Wednesday. However, Favre did not address reporters on Wednesday, instead pushing his media access back one day.

No reason was given for the change but Favre will meet with reporters after Thursday's afternoon practice. Favre's media sessions are never dull but this one should particularly interesting considering the problems the team faces with its wide receiver corps right now.

No doubt Favre would have loved to have Vincent Jackson to throw to, but that is not going to happen after the Chargers refused to budge on their demands for two high draft picks.

Favre and his wide receivers have looked completely out of sync the first two games and now they have injury concerns as well. Percy Harvin missed Wednesday because of migraines and he's also dealing with a strained hip. We'll find out in a few hours if he's able to practice. Wednesday and Thursday are installation days so his absence could be a big blow as far getting familiar and comfortable with the game plan for Sunday's game against Detroit.

Also, Bernard Berrian showed up on the injury report Wednesday with an issue with his knee. Berrian was limited in practice so we'll if he's able to do more today.

That leaves Greg Camarillo, Greg Lewis and Hank Baskett (who signed Tuesday) as the only healthy receivers.

The Vikings start practice at 11:50 a.m. Besides Favre, we're also scheduled to have our regular media access with the three coordinators after practice.

A reminder that I will be hosting a live chat at noon Central. You can submit questions shortly before that. Hope you join us.
