Wide receiver Percy Harvin was limited in practice Wednesday and then did not take part today because of what has been listed as a hip injury.
The issue is that listing came out after Vikings coach Brad Childress spoke to the media on Wednesday and since he isn't scheduled to address us on Thursday's we were left to wonder exactly what the heck was wrong with Harvin's hip. That question now has been cleared up.
In a weekly appeareance on VIkings' flagship station KFAN, Childress said that Harvin is dealing with a bruised hip and it sounds as if confidence is high he will be fine for Sunday's home opener against the Miami Dolphins.
